Coming events:

The citizens of St. Albans are fortunate to now have three recreation trail systems in our community.  The three are as follows:

1. Central Vermont Rail Trail is a 9 mile abandoned rail bed with all rails and ties remove.  The trail starts at the North City/Town border and continues to Sheldon Jct.  The trail is for mountain biking, walking, and snowmobiling.

2. Aldis Hill trails are a system of trails excellent for hiking, running, or mountain biking.  The trails may be accessible from Isham Ave (walk in only) or Hard’ack (parking available).  Aldis Hill is a completely wooded area with two beautiful vistas.

3. The Collins/Perley Fitness path is approximately 1-½ miles long and winds around the perimeter of the Collins/Perley Sports Center.  The path surface includes crushed limestone and stretches of pavement.  Annual improvements to the trail funded by the St. Albans Rotary Club.  Fitness stations are available all along the trail.
