Just a quick word to thank Jim Walsh for welcoming me to my namesake town in VT - the 2010 parade was a fabulous event and showed a wonderful community of patriots and people who make a difference to others in small and big ways.

Hello, I've never been to Franklin County at all but my roots, my ancestors, from my father's side come from your county, in particular Swanton. I would very much love to visit Swanton some day as I feel very close to it like i'm a part of it even though i've never been there. I'm related to all the Bellroses there. Sadly I don't think i'll ever be able to visit there because of transportation issues. What a beautiful state Vermont is! I truly think Franklin County is where I belong!

I am interested in finding someone to help construct a garden bed; as well as learning about the types of perenials that grow well in this area. is there any type of book available on growing plants, annals and trees in Vermont. Is there a Master Garden Program in the St. Albans, area Any help you can provide would be appreciated. Thanks. P. Roesch
